The Princess Bride

Our next book will be The Princess Bride. It is a humorous fairy tale, hopefully a fun choice for summer reading. The book was, of course, made famous by the movie of the same name. Part of our discussion will involve comparing the book and the movie, so you can watch even if you don't have time to read! (Or, do both!) A few links...

Apparently this book was made into a TV movie at some point, too, but I'm not sure how to get ahold of it. I read Wicked by this same author and really liked it, and enjoyed the musical based on the book as well.

Three Cups of Tea

As promised in the evite, here is some information about our upcoming book:

http://www.threecupsoftea.com/ The main website promoting the book. There are teen and children's versions of the story too. I'm going to see if the library has the kid's one (good for those of you who need just 32 pages and pictures!)
